   Fast Computers, Chad Kempt:  Over the past 13 years Fast Computers has been dedicated to helping small to medium sized businesses meet their IT requirements with peace of mind knowing that their information is not only always readily available, but also safe and secure.
Chad, now 28 years old, has been an entrepreneur since the age of 13 cutting lawns and shoveling snow for two years. At 15 he discovered computers and became passionate about them instantly. He spent his high school and college years setting up computer systems and building websites for teachers and fellow students earning a nice part time income. He started Fast Computers in his family's home after college, in Caledonia, while working in the IT department of Canadian Tire's distribution centre in Brampton. There he met many experts in the networking and IT areas that became the beginnings of a solid network of experts that Fast Computers uses when it's larger clientele require specialized and custom systems. Fast computers has customer throughout Ontario, Quebec and the USA.

   The Guitar Loft Music Studio, Brock and Josh Edwards:  Four years ago Josh and Brock were teaching music in a nearby town. They suggested to their employer that they had so many students coming from their hometown of Smithville that there boss should be opening a studio there.  The employer was not interested, so they talked to their parents to see if they would give some help to start a music studio and store. The rest is history. Today with an expansion under their wing and 280 students and 13 well qualified teachers, Mom and Dad work in the business fulltime too. Besides carrying $100,000 in inventory and adding a recording studio in the initial location, the Guitar Loft teaches preschoolers to seniors' violin, vocal, organ, piano, mandolin, and ukulele, 4 styles of guitar, drums, and harmonica.  Josh now 22 and Brock now 25 also are professional performers making for long nights as well as long days.    Impact Martial Arts (IMA), Rachel Fleming:  Located in downtown Smithville IMA is the only full-time operating martial arts studio in the area. Since opening in November 2008, IMA has been a place for the youth of Niagara to realize their potential. As well, providing a program for adults to learn the art of Jiu Jitsu and get back into shape with the Kick Boxer Program
IMA's Student Creed: My goal is to be the best that I can be. I will work hard in all aspects of my life, always being respectful of others and striving to be a positive role model. I will stay focused and determined through life's challenges, knowing I will be a better person from them. I will celebrate my differences and share my knowledge with those around me.
Rachel is 23. She was a student of Martial arts and became an instructor and a studio administrator while attending high school After completing her second year of University she had a compulsion to open her very own Studio. She and her husband designed and built the studio, she built her own website and then opened her doors. Today she has 110 students and growing. She is a volunteer with Big Sisters and coaches disabled children.
